The more we interact with it, the more it reflects us. But unlike glass, it also learns from us. Every prompt, correction, and conversation shapes how it responds. We teach it our languages, assumptions, humour, and biases. It becomes increasingly fluent in the patterns we provide.
If we approach it with generosity, it can amplify generosity. If we approach it with curiosity, it can deepen curiosity. But if we repeatedly reward impatience, certainty, entitlement, or the expectation that every interaction should revolve around our needs, it may become increasingly skilled at reflecting those qualities back to us.
