🏠 UK Mortgage Rate Dashboard

Install this skill and you can ask Cowork to show you a live UK mortgage rate dashboard — seeded with current data from Moneyfacts, Uswitch, and the Bank of England, and built as a persistent panel you can reopen and refresh any time.

The dashboard includes:

BoE Base Rate with a live countdown to the next MPC decision date
2-year fixed, 5-year fixed, and Standard Variable Rate cards with current averages and trend badges
Monthly payment calculator — adjust loan amount and term, all rates recalculate instantly
Key resource links: BoE base rate page, MPC calendar, Moneyfacts, Which?, MoneySavingExpert, HomeOwners Alliance
Latest coverage: 3–5 recent articles about UK mortgage rates, seeded at build time
Refresh button to pull updated rates and articles on demand

Installing the skill

Download the .skill file attached to this document
Open the Cowork app on your desktop
Go to Settings → Skills → Install, or simply drag the .skill file into the Cowork window
The skill is now active — no configuration needed

The dashboard has a Refresh button. Click it any time to pull updated rates and latest articles without starting a new conversation. Rates are sourced from publicly available data — good enough for personal reference and research, not a substitute for professional financial advice.
